Kerry Washington weds pro athlete Asomugha

LOS ANGELES - No "Scandal" here: Kerry Washington is a newlywed.

The star of TV's "Scandal" married professional football player Nnamdi Asomugha (NAHM'-dee AH'-suhm-wah) last week in Hailey, Idaho.

E! reported the nuptials Wednesday and posted a copy of the couple's marriage license online. The Blaine County recorder's office in Hailey confirmed the June 24 filing to The Associated Press.

The 36-year-old actress and 31-year-old athlete were married the same day. Washington's parents served as official witnesses, while one of Asomugha's relatives performed the ceremony.

Asomugha is a cornerback with the San Francisco 49ers. He previously played for the Oakland Raiders and Philadelphia Eagles.

Besides starring in the ABC political thriller, Washington's other recent credits include the films "Peeples" and "Django Unchained."

Gandolfini leaves bulk of estate to children

NEW YORK - James Gandolfini left the bulk of his estimated $70 million estate to his 13-year-old son and infant daughter.

The late star of HBO's "The Sopranos" left millions of dollars to his wife and relatives.

The New York Post reports a will dated Dec. 19 was filed Tuesday in Manhattan Surrogate's Court.

Gandolfini's son, Michael, is to get the largest chunk through a trust set aside for him until he turns 21.

He'll split his father's Italian property with 8-month-old half-sister Liliana when she turns 25.

The newspaper says the remainder of Gandolfini's estate will be split among his wife, sisters and daughter.

Gandolfini grew up in Westwood, N.J. He died last month. He left $200,000 each to his personal assistant and secretary.

The will is the first and primary filing of his estate; more filings are expected.
