Glacier girls wrestling take dual wins in Great Falls

GREAT FALLS — Katelyn Sphuler and Kylie Shine picked up wins as the Glacier girls wrestling team picked up dual wins over Great Falls and CMR Saturday.

Sphuler, a captain for the Wolfpack, pinned Andrea Kennedy — a returner from the Bison’s state team a year ago. Shine wrestled up a division but pinned both her opponents at 140 pounds. 

Stella Colley, Adalyn Cummings and Kira Oftedahl, all freshmen, earned wins to open their careers. 

Zander Fuehr picked up a pair of wins on the day, but Glacier boys wrestling fell 42-21 in a dual with Great Falls in the Electric City. 

Fuehr pinned Mason Kingsland from Great Falls before picking up a second win against CMR. 

Jadon Beston, Matthew Ahner and Noah Horn also picked up wins for the Wolfpack boys against Great Falls.
