A Pablo woman is accused of dealing fentanyl in the Pablo area. Rae’Anna Hohman, 24, entered a plea of not guilty in District Court in Polson Oct. 30 to criminal distribution of dangerous drugs.
According to court records, on Aug. 19, 2025, drug agents learned that an informant had the ability to obtain fentanyl pills from Hohman. That same day, the agents obtained a search warrant to record the voices of Hohman and possible co-conspirators.
The informant was given a digital recorder to wear during a controlled purchase of pills and was also given $200 to make the purchase. The agents monitored the buy and watched as the informant met with Hohman and allegedly exchanged $200 for eight pills.
The informant met up with the agents afterwards and gave the eight pills of suspected fentanyl and the digital recorder to them. The pills were sent to the state crime lab for testing and those results are pending.
The agents monitored this same residence on Aug. 30 when an alleged supplier, Cody William Heffner, 25, arrived. He was in possession of 201 pills when he was arrested.
Heffner pled not guilty to criminal possession with intent to distribute in District Court in Polson Aug. 29 before Judge Molly Owen. She set his case for trial on April 6. He is at liberty.
Judge John A. Mercer set Hohman’s case for trial on Feb. 9. She is in custody with bond set at $5,000.
