A disagreement over the ownership of a litter of puppies required the intervention of the Kalispell Police Department. The original owner of the German shepherd puppies gave the animals to another individual several days earlier to watch while she tried to find better living accommodations. In return, she apparently offered to let them keep a puppy. Now she wanted the puppy back, but the individual was refusing, she told the officers. She also accused the individual of abusing the animals by feeding them raw meat. An officer checked in on the pup in the meantime and reported that it appeared in good health.

Someone reported an acquaintance for drunk driving, saying they had hopped into a Chevrolet pickup and driven to a sports bar.

Officers stopped several people in a public park, citing one for trespassing and warning the other about the facility's rules.

Finding a man on the ground in a parking lot, a passerby wondered if they needed help. He was just trying to get warm, the man helpfully explained. Unconvinced, the passerby phoned the police, who checked in on the man before deeming him OK.

A motorist accused the driver of a white Toyota Tacoma of nearly running them off the road while the pair traveled along the U.S. 93 Bypass. The Toyota's driver also made an obscene gesture.

Someone requested a welfare check on a man walking north along the side of the road and seemingly talking to an imaginary companion.

When their friend locked themselves in the bathroom and began screaming and convulsing, a resident phoned 911 looking for help. They said the friend had since disrobed themselves. When touched or shaken, the man screamed, they said. The resident told officers the friend used "powder" but didn't know if they had taken any recently.

Officers investigated an older model green Toyota Camry after noticing its smashed windshield.

Authorities eventually located the owner of a spotted dog that was left tied up outside of a business.

Security personnel at a shopping plaza asked officers to track down a group of teenagers after they apparently threatened patrons of a game store and yelled racial profanities. The security team wanted the uncouth teens banned from the premises.
