A Montana Highway Patrol pursuit of a black Ford F-150 heading east on U.S. 2 from Libby toward Kalispell reportedly hit 110 mph. The chase blew past Loon Lake and Happy’s Inn. A spike strip was deployed at Thompson River Road, and the driver was eventually taken into custody after officers used a Taser.

Wanting his girlfriend out of the house, a man asked Kalispell Police officers if he could pack her belongings into her car and change the locks. Officers suggested he give her seven days’ notice before taking action.

An employee called police after finding a baby left alone in a vehicle. Officers later contacted the mother, who said she now knows not to leave a baby unattended.

After getting nipped on the thumb by a kitty, a caller asked police for help with the cat’s owner.
