Arne Dreier, son of Glenn and Rose April Dreier, born Aug. 15, 1939, died Oct. 10, 2025.
A third-generation native of Sandpoint, Arne was an avid outdoorsman and hunter. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War, entrepreneur, business owner, builder and salesman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Terry, sister Shirley and son Arne Jr. He is survived by his wife, Jeanelle Shields, daughter Tanya, son Cody, brother Kevin, and many grandchildren.
At the end of life, what really matters is not what we bought but what we built; not what we got but what we shared; not our competence but our character; and not our success, but our significance. Arne lived a life of significance, leaving a positive impact on those who loved him.
A celebration of life for Arne Dreier will be held Oct. 26, 2025, at 1 p.m. at the Providence Barn.
