Holly Eve is a wonderful tradition

Can Holly Eve really be celebrating 24 years this Saturday night?

This area's official kickoff to the holiday season is a tough ticket to come by. It's sold out. Last year it was sold out and the year before … you get the idea. If it is consistently selling out, they must be on to something good.

Event coordinator and all-around class act Marilyn Sabella has raised nearly $300,000 since 1980 for the arts and other community-based projects in Sandpoint. This year, proceeds go to: The Panida HVAC project, POAC, Community Cancer Services and Bonner Community Hospice. A fashion show, complimentary champagne, goodies from 19 of Sandpoint's finest restaurant and funds to some great causes, all add up to a great night out.

We'll see you at Holly Eve.

Thanks, Marilyn!
