Editor:

This letter is a thank you to Paul Fugleberg for his article on Everett and Cleo Hill, who once resided on what is now the Lee Property. My parents were married there in l933, before the Hills' time in Polson. When the Hills learned that I had never seen the inside of the house, they kindly invited my husband and me to dinner and to spend the evening with them in their home.

Over the years Polson has had its share of charming and interesting residents. Everett and Cleo Hill are among them. We are fortunate to possess one of Everett's books, "He Who Seeks Gold," a book of poems and prose.

So thanks, Paul, for reviving my memory of this lovely and gracious couple.
