"Our beloved Gerald Joseph Sirucek went to be with the Lord" Thursday, Feb. 3, 2005, in Ronan.

He was born Feb. 26, 1984, in Polson to Lisa F. King. Gerald was born and raised in Ronan. He was a graduate of Two Eagle River School and was pursuing a bachelor's degree in forestry at Salish Kootenai College.

Gerald loved to hike in the foothills of the Missions and was an avid outdoorsman and a sports enthusiast. He loved writing poetry for his friends and family, whom he loved spending time with. He was looking forward to being a proud father of his children.

He is survived in death by his parents Lisa F. King and Alfred Bauer; sisters Daina Sirucek and her husband John Foust, and Lisa L. King Jr., all of Ronan; brother Josh King of Polson; grandparents Louise Andrew of Nirada, Armeda and Gerald Hoover of Ronan, Arnold and Eve Bauer of Charlo, and Carl and Norma Sirucek of St. Ignatius.

Gerald "was blessed with lots of aunts and uncles," including Aunt Tessie Curley and family of Pablo, Aunt Brenda and Virgil Brave Rock and family of Ronan, Aunt Sandra and Mike Kenmile and family of Big Draw, Aunt Michaleane Stasso and Steve Arca and family of St. Ignatius, Aunt Annaliesa and Glen Parker and family of Pablo, Aunt Carol and Fred McLoud and family of St. Ignatius, Aunt Lori Sirucek and Aunt Mary Jo Sirucek of Ronan. He also had many uncles, including Lou Andrew of Missoula, Mark Noyes of Belgrade, Lyle Andrew of Creston, British Columbia, Brian Stasso of Spokane, Wash. and Roger J. Hoover of Missoula.

"Gerald was blessed with many cousins and nieces and nephews and friends from all walks of life."

Wake is being held at the Longhouse in St. Ignatius, The wake started Feb. 5 at 2:30 p.m. Rosary was held Feb. 6 at 8 p.m. Wake closing will begin at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Longhouse with Mass beginning at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the St. Ignatius. Catholic Mission, followed by burial at the Ronan Cemetery.
