James M. McClelland, 62, a Moses Lake resident since 1954, passed away Monday, Jan. 31 at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane. He was born Sept. 29, 1942 in Bell, Calif. to the late James H. McClelland and Helen B. Cortner. He graduated from Moses Lake High School and attended Big Bend Community College. He is preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Jeannette.

Jim is survived by his stepmother, Francis McClelland of Kosciusko, Miss., brother Andrew McClelland of Walla Walla, two sisters, Judy McClelland of Grand Ronde, Ore. and Trysha Welch of Colo., son-in-law and three daughters, Bob and Audrey Danals of Spokane, Turina McClelland of Spokane and Vanessa McClelland of Vancouver, Wash. and four grandchildren: Jennett and Julienne Danals, and Joseph and Jade Liebrecht.

I will always cherish the good times; Saturday morning cartoons, fishing trips, waving to you as you drove off to work every morning, waving and waving until you were out of sight. I'm waving to you now Dad.

No services will be held and arrangements are in care of Spokane Crematorium.
