Mire named to IEL first team

Sandpoint junior Ashleigh Mire was named to the Inland Empire League girls basketball All-League team earlier this week.

Seniors Elle Carne and Kelsey James made the All-League second team roster.

The Player of the Year was Coeur d'Alene senior Jenna Griffitts, while Viking freshman Ali Johnson earned Newcomer of the Year honors. Steve Seymour of Lakeland was named Coach of the Year.

The All-League selections are compiled by IEL coaches.

Player of the Year — Jenna Griffitts, Sr, Coeur d'Alene.

Newcomer of the Year — Ali Johnson, Fr, Coeur d'Alene.

Coach of the Year — Steve Seymour, Lakeland
