Kalispell fire department had 11 calls. One was to a head-on car crash on U.S. 93 in Somers late Sunday afternoon. Also responding was Somers fire department and Lakeside fire & medical. Three patients went to the hospital; none reportedly had life-threatening injuries.
West Valley fire department was also on the scene when a woman fell from a horse on Lore Lake Road Saturday. She went to the hospital for treatment of a leg injury. The crew was called to a fire in the basement of a home on Fifth Avenue East Sunday morning, but the homeowner managed to get the fire out.
Someone who fell on Main Street went to the hospital, but by private vehicle.
