Moses Lake trumps Davis, Sunnyside

YAKIMA - In a double meet in Yakima, the Moses Lake swimming team pounced on Davis 111-17, then Sunnyside 129-19.

In addition to the nine swimmers already qualified for districts , the Chiefs' Chris Forrest (200-I.M., 100-back), Andrew Gjefle (100-breast) and Katlyn Lopez (50-free) for districts at the meet.

"We had a strong Christmas vacation workout schedule made up of our 12 sets of Christmas," said Moses Lake head coach Tony St. Onge. "This gave us an opportunity to gain a lot and should pay off as we approach the tough part of the schedule."
