Lila Rosholt, 94, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2005, in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14, 2005, at Coffelt's Moon Chapel. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery with Pastor Jim Osman of Kootenai Community Church officiating.

Lila was born on Jan. 17, 1910, in Sandpoint, the daughter of Charles and Ada (Latterell) Hilligoss. She grew up in Kootenai, Idaho, attending schools there and graduating from Sandpoint High School. She went on to attend business college in Spokane, Wash.

Lila married Arthur R. Rosholt Sr. on Sept. 30, 1933, in Spokane. She moved to Libby, Mont., and returned to Sandpoint in 1937, where she worked for Neads Variety Store for a few years. Lila spent the rest of her life being a homemaker and mother to their children.

Lila enjoyed her garden and she especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by three sons, Darrell (Linda) Rosholt of Sandpoint, Art (Betty) Rosholt Jr. and Jan (Sharon) Rosholt of Seattle; one daughter, Cathy Rosholt of Spokane; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Adair Hilligoss of Vancouver, Wash.

Lila was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Art; a sister, Thelma; and a great-granddaughter.

Arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service of Sandpoint.
