LINCOLN — Coach Rob Bird and his Eagles picked up their first win on the road as the Two Eagle boys defeated Lincoln 93-88 last Saturday.

The Eagles passed the ball well and spread the scoring around. Recent transfer from Ronan Gordon Ahenakew scored big with 34 points and freshman surprise Moss Tanner had a standout night with 26.

"Gordon is a good inside player and Moss, only a freshman, had a solid game for us," said Bird.

The Eagles will next face Charlo Friday night at home, which sets up a battle for valley bragging rights. Friday night's game will showcase Charlo's sharp shooter Bo Herak who is coming off a 26-point game against Arlee and Two Eagle's 6-foot-5 Ahenakew who averaged 31 points in his first two games this year.
