Lois Ammerman

Lois J. Ammerman, 67, of Libby, died on June 23, 2005, at St. John's Lutheran Hospital.

She was born on Jan. 25, 1938, at Cambridge, Idaho, to Ralph and Helen Bursell, and was raised and educated at Orofino.

She had been involved in the tavern management business for many years, both in north Lincoln County and later at Libby, where she managed and operated the Eagles Club.

A Kootenai Valley resident for the past 30 years, Lois was active in the Women's Bowling League.

Survivors include her husband, Harvey Ammerman, Libby, sons David Clarke, Eureka, and Ralph Clarke, Butte; brother Myron (Bud) Bursell, Libby, and several grandchidren and great-grandchildren.

Private interment will be in the City of Libby Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Nelson & Vial Funeral Home.
