Agnes M. Olson, 90

Agnes M. Olson, 90, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2005, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center in Kalispell.

Agnes was born Aug. 11, 1914, in Silva, N.D., to Anton and Julia (Evenson) Lund. Agnes grew up in Silva and graduated high school there.

She then went to Bible college in Minneapolis before continuing her education in Bozeman for two more years.

She married Eugene T. Olson in Bozeman on Jan. 2, 1942. They moved to Kalispell in 1974.

Lovingly referred to as "Aunt Kit," she was a wonderful wife and mother loved by her family.

Agnes was involved in many women's groups in her church, the Christian Center Assembly of God as well as the Gideons.

She loved to cook, study her Bible, sewing and gardening.

Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, Julia Evenson Lund and Anton Lund; her brothers, Edwin, Odell and Allen Lund, and her sisters, Stella Salisbury, Eunice Hamilton and Belva Halvorson.

Agnes is survived by her husband of 63 years, Col. Eugene T. Olson; daughter, Ardis "Ardy" Adams; sister, Cora Langseth; brother, Leonard Lund, and another sister, Myrtle Ramstad; grandchildren, Michael and James Adams; great-grandchildren, David, Brett and Andy Adams; and a special friend of the family, Wendy Urbach.

Visitation for Agnes will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 28, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday July 29, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home with pastors John Weaver and Robert Ross officiating.

Buffalo Hill Funeral Home is caring for the family.
