Edmundson pleads guilty

A man who sexually assaulted a woman at gunpoint pleaded guilty Wednesday, days before he was to stand trial.

Rodney Edmundson, 32, signed a plea agreement that dismissed five other charges against him in exchange for his guilty plea on one charge of assault with a weapon.

He was arrested during February after police received reports that he assaulted the woman and brandished a gun at three other people.

The woman told Kalispell police she had met Edmundson at a bar and gave him a business card with her phone number on it. She said he called her a week later from jail and demanded she help him. When she refused, he threatened to go to her job and home. She agreed to meet with him and give him money.

Instead, when she picked him up in front of a motel, he told her he just wanted sex and ordered

Myron "Mike" Felt, the former president of Crop Hail Management, Inc., in Bigfork, pleaded guilty Friday to wire fraud and money laundering. He will be sentenced on Oct. 19.
