Bernice Irene Fleshman

Bernice Irene Fleshman, 80, of Libby, died on Tuesday, May 10, 2005, at the Libby Care Center.

She was born on Sept. 1, 1924, in an old log house at Silver Lake, Wash.

Bernice attended school at Longview, Wash., and married Robert Fleshman on Oct. 30, 1942, at Kelso, Wash.

They spent most of their life at Longview, although in later years they spent the winter months at Florence, Ariz.

They moved to Libby in 1982.

Bernice enjoyed ceramics, crocheting, bingo, traveling, camping, gardening and playing pinochle.

She was preceded in death by three brothers.

Survivors include her husband Bob Fleshman, Libby; daughters Judith Nelson and her husband Robert, Longview; Lynda Bourdage, Winlock, Wash.; Susan Ogden and her husband Robert, Kalama, Wash.; son Robert Michael Fleshman and his wife Nora, Libby; brothers Lyle Johnson and his wife Eunice and Fred Johnson and his wife Peggy, all of Longview, 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Private family services will be conducted.

Local arrangements are by the Nelson & Vial Funeral Home.
