Keith Ohren Daudermann, 84, passed away Sunday Nov. 13, 2005, at Brendan House in Kalispell.

Keith was born Aug. 20, 1921, in Pocahontas, Ill., to Daniel and Ida Ohren Daudermann. He was raised on a farm in Old Ripley, Ill. He graduated from Illinois Tech in Chicago.

Keith served more than 20 years on active duty with the U.S. Air Force. He was a veteran of World War II, and the Korean Conflict. He flew combat missions in North Africa, Sicily, Italy and Korea. He piloted the AT6, B-24, B-29, B036, B-47, and the B52 during war and peace time.

He married Ann M. Brown in 1944, in Tucson, Ariz.

Keith retired from the Air Force in 1964. He became a flight instructor for United Airlines. He received his captain's rating from United Airlines in 1977 on the DC-8 turbojets. He retired from United Airlines in 1983, and moved to Tucson.

Keith lived in Great Falls for several years before moving to Kalispell in 2001.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, QB's past president of the Residents Association at Buffalo Hill Terrace in Kalispell and Cottonwood Condo Association in Great Falls.

He loved golf, hunting and camping.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Keith Daudermann Jr.; two brothers; and four sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 62 1/2 years, Ann, of Kalispell; his daughter, Paula VanVoast, and her husband, Roger, of Bigfork; and one grandson, Jay R. VanVoast, and his wife, Jessica, of Bozeman.

The family requests donations in Keith's name be given to the American Cancer Society, or charity of donor's choice.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home, with the Rev. Peter Ramseth officiating. Burial will be afterward at C.E. Conrad Cemetery Military honors will be conducted by the United Veterans of the Flathead Valley.
