Award-winning country and western singer Neal McCoy will headline the entertainment at this year's Northwest Montana Fair.

McCoy performs Tuesday, Aug. 15, at the fairgrounds in Kalispell. Tickets cost $20 for general admission and $25 the day of the concert. Reserved seating costs $25; tickets go on sale June 26.

McCoy was named Entertainer of the Year in 1998 and 1999 by TNN/Music City News Country Awards and won Video of the Year in 1997 with "Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye." He has one gold and three platinum albums to his credit.

The fair board still is lining up entertainment for the Wednesday, Aug. 16, concert slot. Fair Manager Jay Scott said the concert likely will be a classic-rock band. In recent years, the fair has offered a Christian concert, but the board voted to go in another direction this year, Scott said.
