Editor,

Thank you to the Polson community (TM)for your part in making the Jump Rope for Heart a success again this year as 78 Cherry Valley and Linderman students participated bringing in donations of $4,765 for the American Heart Association. Wal-Mart will give a matching $1,000 grant, which brings to total to $5,765.

We thank Subway and Bayview Dental for their donations of prizes. Super 1 provided oranges. McDonald's supplied juice and Wal-Mart gave us popcorn for the snack breaks. Glacier Bank personnel counted the cash and change and provided a casher's check for mailing the money to American Heart Association.

We are also very grateful to the volunteers who came to help at the rope jumping stations, registration, counting the donations, and in serving the snacks. Last of all, we express our gratitude to those who so generously donated their money to support the children in their fundraising efforts.
