Daily Inter Lake | Hagadone News Network | UPDATED 18 years, 9 months AGO
Revo Somersille, 64, "entered into the hands of his Lord and Savior" on April 26, 2006.
He was born on Dec. 30, 1941, in New York, N.Y., the son of William and Delicia (Holmes) Somersille. Revo was born and raised in New York where he graduated from the City College of New York and began his professional career as a certified public accountant. In May of 2000, Revo received his master's in business from the University of Montana. After receiving his master's degree, Revo found his true passion to be teaching college students.
Revo always gave generously of his time. He served as a board member for the Lighthouse in Kalispell and served as a deacon at the Whitefish Assembly of God. Revo also sang in church choirs and participated in many Bible studies, where he established eternal friendships. In 1998, the Montana Trial Lawyers Association awarded Revo with the 1998 Citizen Award for his "Honesty, Integrity, and Courage in the Pursuit of Justice" for his role in the Columbia Falls Aluminum Company litigation, which resulted in a $97 million dollar award to the employees of CFAC.
Revo befriended and touched many lives wherever he went. He will be missed dearly by his family, his friends, students and anyone else who had the good fortune to see his smile or hear his laugh.
Revo was the beloved husband of Brenda Somersille, of Stockton, Calif.; loving father of Revo Somersille and his wife, Alicia, of Stockton and Ross Somersille, of Las Vegas; and devoted "Papa" to Olivia and Austin Somersille, of Stockton. Revo is also survived by his mother, Delicia, and his sister, Aloma, both of New Jersey.
Revo was preceded in death by his first wife, Carmen, and his father, William.
Internment in Kalispell is at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 3, at Glacier Memorial Gardens, with services following at 11 a.m. at the Christian Center in Kalispell. A service will also be held in Stockton at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 8, at Twin Oaks Community Church.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be sent to either the Humphreys College Scholarship Fund, where Revo was teaching at the time of his passing, 6650 Inglewood Ave., Stockton, CA 95207, or the Joyce Meyer Ministries, P.O. Box 655 Fenton, MO 63026.
Johnson Mortuary and Crematory is caring for Revo's family.
