Hazel Ellen Roberts Johnson, 60

Hazel Ellen Roberts Johnson, 60, passed away Monday, Feb. 13, 2006, 'to be with God and her forever love, Tom.'

She was born June 21, 1945, in Kalispell, the daughter of Roy and Rosa (Phillips) Roberts.

She died after a six-year struggle with cancer. She lived her whole life being giving, caring and selfless, leaving happy memories in everyone's hearts and smiles wherever she traveled. 'Well, she's in a better place. She's warm, she feels no pain and she's with Tom for all eternity.'

She became a member of the Women of the Moose No. 579 in Whitefish on May 1, 1975, the Academy of Friendship on May 6, 1979, and the College of Regions on May 27, 1988, all within the Moose Lodge. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary in March 1986.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tom; one grandchild; and two brothers.

She is survived by her three children, Tina Wiant and her husband, Clayton, of Kalispell, Alan Johnson and wife, Shawna, of Colorado, Bill Johnson and wife, Yvonne, of Columbia Falls; and four stepchildren, Tom Johnson and his wife, Jane, of Colville, Wash., Robin McQueen of Beatty, Nev., Karen DeVall and her husband, Joel, of Colville, and Juanita Johnson of Grants Pass, Ore.; 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Loretta McKay and her husband, Elwood, and Roberta Van Ham and her husband, Sam, all of Kalispell, Rose Wildes and her husband of Snoqualmie, Wash.; three brothers, Roy Roberts and his wife, JoAnne, of South Dakota, Duane Roberts of Congress, Ariz., and Ed Lauman of Kalispell.

There are no services planned at this time.

Johnson Mortuary and Crematory is caring for Hazel's family.
