Harvey Bischoff

Harvey Bischoff, 79, lifelong Ruff resident, passed away Friday, Dec. 30 at Samaritan Hospital. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 7 at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 104 W. 5th, Moses Lake. Burial preceded the memorial service. Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel and Crematory, Moses Lake.

Harvey was born in Ruff on Oct. 17, 1926, son of the late John and Christina (Pfaff) Bischoff. He was a dry land wheat farmer in Ruff his entire life. Although he lived all his life in the area, he often commented on how wonderful it was to live in the country! Besides his family, he enjoyed hunting.

Harvey is survived by his wife, Betty Bischoff, Marlin; one daughter, Denice Barnes, Seattle; one son, Darrel Bischoff, Phoenix, Ariz.; two step-daughters, Carol Mills and Connie Potter; one brother, Marvin Bischoff; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Harvey was preceded in death by twelve siblings.
