Joann Collier

Joann J. Collier, 71, died Wednesday, Dec. 28, at St. John's Lutheran Hospital in Libby.

She was born at Sandpoint, Idaho on June 25, 1934 to George M. and Nora Doyle Cottrell. She was raised and educated in Libby and had remained here where she raised her family.

She married Glenn Collier Nov. 10, 1951. Joann enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and camping and enjoyed being with her family.

Her husband Glenn preceded her in death in 2004.

Survivors include her children, Glynda Olson, and a son, Brett Collier and wife Denise, all of Libby; sisters Bethene Candee and Geraldine Fletcher, both of Libby; a brother, Darrell Cottrell of Whitefish; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Services will be Friday, Jan. 6 at 11 a.m. at the Libby Christian Church.
