Leroy Ross McLeod, 54, died Thursday, July 6, 2006, at his home in Kalispell, from heart failure.
He was born on June 13, 1952, in Kalispell, the son of Clarence and Gladys (Sundt) McLeod. Leroy was raised and received his education in Kalispell.
He and Marolyn were married in Kalispell and were married for 25 years. He worked as a painting contractor all his life. You would either find him on the lake with a fishing pole, in his shop with a paint brush or on the lawn mower with his goggles and ear plugs or on the couch with the remote in his hand and his cat under his arm. He was an avid fisherman who was always content on the lake.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Marolyn McLeod of Kalispell; their two daughters, Lori of Phoenix and Malisa of Kalispell; his beloved granddaughter, Madelyn; two sisters, Gloria Smith and Sharon Askelson, both of Kalispell; and many other relatives. He also leaves behind his favorite cat, Chubby.
Memorial services for Leroy Ross McLeod will be held 9 a.m. Monday, July 10, at Johnson Mortuary Chapel in Kalispell. There will be no visitation.
