Dorothy "Lorraine" Mosling Le Fave

Dorothy "Lorraine" Mosling Le Fave, 74 years, passed away peacefully Wednesday night Sept. 27, 2006, in Spokane at Sacred Heart Medical Center.
Born in Drayton, N.D., to Eldon and Kathryn Mosling, she was the oldest of three children with her sister Alice Williams of Ardmore, Okla., and brother Ray Mosling. Lorraine graduated in 1950 from North Central High School and attended Whitworth College in Spokane before marrying her husband of 54 years John Carldon Le Fave.
Lorraine was member of both Orchard Prairie and Quincy Homemakers Association of Washington state for over 50 years. She served on the Grant County elections committee for over 10 years and was secretary for the White Trail Grange of Ephrata.
Church was a second home to Lorraine and she attended Millwood Presbyterian and Peninsula EMC throughout her adult life.
Carl and Lorraine brought five children into the world; Cathie Anne born in Bremerton; Rickey E. (Peggy) Le Fave of Ephrata; Don (Michele) Le Fave of Spokane; Gordon (Vicky) Le Fave and John (Diane) Le Fave both of Moses Lake; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Those family members waiting to greet Lorraine to sit by the campfire in heaven: father, Eldon Mosling; daughter, Cathie Le Fave; mother, Kathryn Kochendorfer Mosling; brother, Ray Mosling and grandson, David Le Fave.
Graveside services will be in Spokane's Orchard Prairie Union Cemetery at 3 p.m. Tuesday Oct. 3.
Memorial services will be held in Moses Lake at the Peninsula Evangelical Methodist church, 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2006.
Charitable donation may be made in lieu of Flowers to either Make-a-Wish of Washington, Foothills Community Church of Spokane or Peninsula EMC Church of Moses Lake.
