Evergreen and Whitefish fire departments responded to reports of smoke after a lightning strike near Sanko Creek Road.

Kalispell Fire Department ambulances, Smith Valley Fire Department and Marion ambulance responded to an accident on U.S. 2. A car and a motorcycle collided. The motorcycle rider was taken to the hospital with a broken leg.
