Dorothy Mae Krause, 69, passed away Nov. 26, 2007, at her home in Kalispell.

She was born March 9, 1938, in Kalispell to Herbert and Martha Schwenke. She attended Bald Rock School in Rhodes Draw and married Floyd Krause on Aug. 24, 1955.

She moved with her family to Alaska, where she resided for a time before returning to Kalispell.

She was preceded in death by Floyd Krause; her son, Dick Krause; her father and mother, Herbert and Martha Schwenke; and grandson, Kevin Krause.

She is survived by her son, Deryl Krause, and his wife, Deanne, of Nenana, Alaska, their children and their grandchildren of North Pole, Alaska; son, Kirk Krause, and his wife, Dhana, their children and grandchild, also of North Pole; sister, Lois Jackson, of Kalispell; sister, Florence, and Carl Rhodes, also of Kalispell; brother, Francis, and Carol Schwenke of Tucson, Ariz.; brother, Bill Schwenke, of Kalispell; brother, Wayne, and Anita Schwenke of Colville, Wash.; sister, Barbara, and Bing Daugherty of Paradise, Calif.; sister, Irene, and Jim Ferguson of Kalispell; sister, Shirley, and Clyde Shipp of Columbia Falls; granddaughter, Kristine; great-granddaughter, Rowan Hill, of North Pole; also numerous nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place and burial will be at the Spring Creek Cemetery in Kalispell in the summer of 2008. Time and date will be announced.

Buffalo Hill Funeral Home is caring for the family.
