Logger boys win, help Northwestern A take tourney

The Libby boys beat Corvallis, 68-46, in the Northwestern A vs. Southwestern A Boys Tip-off Tournament last Saturday in Whitefish, with Jim Mee making a game-high of 28 points - five of them 3 pointers.

In the first quarter, Mee and Bryan Cooper made five points a piece, helping the Loggers take control of the game early.

Jordan Gragert contributed 8 points in the game, and Joel Fuller had 11 points, making 3-for-3 of his free throws.

Zack Rowan 5, Jim Mee 28, Joel Fuller 11, Bryan Cooper 5, Jordan Gragert 8, Kelly May 5, Branden Puckett 2, Connor Benson 4.

Leading for Corvallis was Dalton Sybrant with nine points.

The Loggers will host Bigfork on Friday.
