The Bigfork Fire Department responded to a ruptured gas line on Holt Drive.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to an accident on Montana 40. A logging truck and a car collided. Two people, one who was diabetic, were reportedly trapped in the car. One person was taken to North Valley Hospital and the other was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

They also responded to Whitefish High School and took a person who cut their finger to North Valley Hospital.

ALERT flew a person trapped in an avalanche near Fiberglass Hill in the Canyon Creek area to Kalispell Regional Medical Center. The victim had already been dug out by a friend when emergency personnel arrived.

The Ferndale Fire Department and Bigfork Ambulance responded to an accident on Montana 209 near the Swan River bridge. No one was taken to the hospital.

Flathead Electric Cooperative responded to a power outage that occurred at about 8 a.m. Wednesday, on Blacktail Road, after a semi-truck slid backward while attempting to crest a hill, taking out a power pole. The outage lasted about four hours and crews replaced the entire pole.
