MOSES LAKE — One woman walked away with the 2007 Miss Moses Lake title Saturday night and received several other awards leading to her title.

In addition to being crowned, 22-year-old Sara Rosborough took home five more awards.

She was awarded Miss Congeniality, an academic award, lifestyle and fitness in a swimsuit, People's Choice and top talent.

Her platform issue is to transform the lives of children with disabilities through dance, she said. She is working to put a seminar program together to further her cause.

When asked about the image of her community, she said she wanted to build pride and promote the city to combat against names such as "Moses Hole" and "Dust Bowl."

The talent she performed was a contemporary ballet dance to "Plaza of Execution" from the movie "Zorro." She choreographed the dance herself and has been dancing for 16 years.

First runner up was given to 18-year-old Caitlin Voogt, who also won the Board of Directors award.

LeeAnna Pike, 17, took home the Top Ticket Sales award.

Justine Roders, 20, won the Living Your Platform award. Her platform is Multiple Sclerosis advocacy and awareness. She said she chose the platform because the disease runs in her family.
