Edith E. Smith, formerly of Quincy, passed away on Feb. 27, 2007, at age 86. Edith was born on July 4, 1920, in Collyer, Kan., to parents Albert and Viola Tilton.

She is survived by her son, Lester R. (Pat) Meacham and his wife, Rozan, of Pasco; daughters Carol Perdue, and her husband, James of Newcastle, Wash.; and Kay Meacham-Boynton of Everett; a sister, Thelma Barber of Pueblo, Colo., and a brother, John A. Tilton of La Junta, Colo. She is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Edith was preceded in death by husbands Lester S. Meacham, Leroy Mathena, and Harry Smith, her parents, and three brothers.

Arrangements are under the care of Solie Funeral Home and Crematory.
