Laura Ann Loven, 47, "went home to be with her Lord" on March 25, 2007, in Kalispell, surrounded by her family and friends after her battle with cancer. Laura was born Nov. 18, 1959, in Long Beach, Calif., to Marvin and Gladys Graham.

Affectionately known as "Lo-Lo" to her family, Laura had a quiet and gentle spirit that all who knew her loved.

Laura loved the simple things in life and did not need extravagance to make her happy. She was very creative, making homemade cards for friends and family with poetry and drawings. She loved to bake bread, go to garage sales and pick huckleberries with her husband in late summer.

Laura had a heart and love for babies, and for many years nurtured babies in her own home for working parents. She had a deep love for her own three children and treasured being a mom. Laura loved to laugh - with a quiet, quick wit and well-timed pun always in hand.

Evident in her life was her love for the Lord. She enjoyed Bible studies and worshipping with her husband and friends. She served overseas with Youth With a Mission to Singapore and Thailand, sharing her love for Jesus.

Laura worked at Stillwater Christian school in the cafeteria and at Buffalo Hill Terrace kitchen.

Laura was devoted to her family and friends, especially to her husband, Patrick, who stood by her in life and through a difficult illness - she loved him with all her heart.

Laura is survived by her husband, Patrick Loven, sons, Ryan Johnson and Randy Johnson; her best friend and daughter, Faith Loven; her mother, Gladys Graham; her brother, David Graham, and his wife, Kathy; her sisters, Linda Seymour and her husband, Phil, and Christine Daspit and her husband J.D.; numerous aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Graham; and grandparents, Grover and Hazel Graham, and Albert Smith and Eda Smith.

A celebration of Laura's life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 29, at Easthaven Baptist Church. A burial service will be afterward at Glacier Memorial Gardens.
