Ida Helene (Gudvangen) Moore, 90

Ida Helene (Gudvangen) Moore, 90, "went home to be with her Lord and Savior" on Monday, April 30, 2007. She went peacefully at home surrounded by her children. Ida was born to Lars and Inga (Norheim) Gudvangen on Nov. 19, 1916, in Wildrose, N.D., where she was raised.

Ida married James Moore on June 25, 1939. Jim and Ida had their first five children in N.D., and then moved to Kalispell, where they had six more children. Ida's greatest joy in life was raising and loving her children, of which they are most grateful.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James; and daughter, Darlene Jane Moore.

She is survived by sons and daughters, Lyle Moore and wife, Elaine, of Kalispell, Leland Moore and wife, Darlene, of Somers; Ordean Moore of Columbia Falls; Donald Moore and wife, Frankie, of Kalispell; Jerome Moore and wife, Debbie, also of Kalispell; Aletha Mae Moore of Columbia Falls; Sadie Stowell and husband, Bob, of Texas; Betty Bertelsen and husband, Roger, of Lakeside; Myrna Wade and husband, Mike, of Whitefish; and Pearl Carstens and husband, Tom, of Virginia.

She also was blessed with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will cherish their memories of her always.

Graveside services will be held at noon Saturday, May 5, at Glacier Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 5, at Johnson Mortuary prior to the graveside services.

Johnson Mortuary and Crematory is caring for Ida's family.
