Othello's Walker, Ephrata's Ratigan head CWAC volleyball teams

COLUMBIA BASIN - Othello High School's Allison Walker and Ephrata High School's Britney Ratigan were the lone Columbia Basin area choices on the All-Central Washington Athletic Conference first team volleyball squad announced earlier this week.
Walker, a junior outside hitter and Ratigan, a senior outside hitter, were part of the 10-player first team. The Huskies and Tigers landed other players on the second team and honorable mention list as well.
Othello sophomore middle hitter Kylee Mollotte was a second-team choice, as was Ephrata senior setter BreAnne Duff. Quincy High School junior setter Manda Brindle was an honorable mention choice, as were Ephrata senior Briana Moser (middle hitter) and junior Darcee Fales (outside hitter).
Quincy's Lady Jackrabbits got the nod for the conference's Sportsmanship Award.
