Dinsmores celebrate 60th anniversry

Seward R. and Gertrude H. Dinsmore celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Monday.

The couple married Nov. 26, 1947, at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Rockland, Maine.

The Dinsmores raised their family in Maine and moved to Bonners Ferry in 1984.

Both retired from Boundary Community Hospital in Bonners Ferry. Seward worked in maintenance and Gertrude was a nurse's aide.

They are the parents of Seward Dinsmore Jr. of Spokane, Wash.; Jerry Dinsmore of Kittery, Maine; Christine Arsenault of Winthrop, Maine; Paul Dinsmore of Colorado, Bernadette Kirk of Moyie Springs; Joseph Dinsmore of Winnette, Mont.; and Anthony Dinsmore and Barb LePoidevin, both of Bonners Ferry.

The Dinsmores also have 21 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
