Joyce J. Greenup, 63, of Libby died Monday, Oct. 15, 2007 in Spokane, Wash. from natural causes. She was born July 9, 1944 in Libby to Thomas and Eunice Carlburg Roy.

She grew up and attended school in Libby. She worked as a waitress in a number of restaurants around Libby. She also worked as a nurse's aid at the Libby Care Center for over 15 years.

She married Rolly Greenup in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho on Aug. 14, 1965. She enjoyed crafts, ceramics, camping, motorcycle rides and being with her family. Her husband Rolly and two sisters-in-law, Lois and Marie, preceded her in death.

Survivors include: her daughter Trina Greenup of Spokane; three brothers Tom Roy Jr. of Moyie Springs, Idaho, Bob Burrese and his wife Dolores of Thompson Falls, and Alfred Roy of Tyler, Texas; sister Mary Isham of Spokane; mother Eunice Burrese of Spokane; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 23 at the Nelson & Vial Funeral Home in Libby. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. on Monday.
