Echo Jo Johnson

Echo Jo Johnson died Saturday, Sept., 1 at the Libby Care Center.

She was born to William (Bill) and Hazel Vincent in Libby on Jan. 6, 1958. She graduated from Libby Senior High in 1976.

She graduated from Glen Dow Academy of Hair Design in Spokane and practiced hairdressing in Libby and in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

A marriage to Mark Lauer produced two boys, Kale Lauer and Cole Lauer, both of Libby.

She married Bob Johnson and had lived in Bonners Ferry, Idaho for several years.

She is preceded in death by her parents

Echo is survived by her husband, Bob Johnson of Bonners Ferry; her sons, Kale and Cole of Libby; step children: Jeremy, Ashley, Jason and Aaryn Johnson of Bonners Ferry; brother Vaughn (Bill) Vincent of Libby; sisters Patty Coe of Plains, and Robin Kendall of Libby. Echo is also survived and will be missed by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Services will be held at Nelson & Vial Funeral Home at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8 and followed by a potluck at the Eagles.

A family and friends celebration of Echo's life will be held July 4, 2008 at Horseshoe Lake.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations to Libby Hospice, at St. John's Lutheran Hospital, be considered.
