The Hot Spot in Bonners Ferry has new owners.
Bob and Julie Langley bought the tanning salon on April 1.
The couple has redecorated the salon and plans to add new merchandise.
“I want to make this an environment that either a man or a woman can come in, feel relaxed and have some quiet time,” said Julie Langley.
Customers can tan in the stand-up booth or one of three tanning beds. Langley is hoping to add new beds in the future.
“We are hot even when the sun is not,” said Langley.
The Hot Spot sells Salt City Candles, spray tans and a line of tanning lotions. Langley is planning on adding body jewelry, swimsuits, beach bags and other summer items. Also offered are gift certificates and gift baskets.
The Hot Spot employs Lindsay Branson and Amy Bliss.
The Hot Spot will raffle off a basket with one year of free tanning and up to $500 worth of products during the grand opening on April 14.
Monthly specials will be offered, and the Langleys will honor all previous purchases for tanning for up to one year.
“We are open for suggestions,” said Langley.
Youth under 18 need parental permission to tan.
New extended hours are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays. Call 267-8267 for appointments. Walk-ins are welcome as time permits.
“From the time they walk in, to the time they walk out, we want them to feel good,” said Langley.
