WARDEN - Warden Cougars hosted the Zillah Leopards in match play Monday at the Sage Hills Golf Course.

The Cougars lost by a score of 380-378.

It was a hard-fought match, according to golf coach Steve Tolley.

"Losing by two strokes on our own course wasn't fun," he said.

Despite the loss, Kevin Whitaker had a good round shooting a 95 on the par 71 course.

For the Cougars' Nate Stott shot 94, Ben Bisnett shot 97, Chris Kalous a 94, Kevin Whitaker a 95, Brandon Wurzer a 109, and Nathan Brown a 117.

Warden next travels to Royal City Thursday for a three way match between Naches, Royal, and Warden.
