Jeanne Marie Medved, 48, passed away Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008, in Kalispell.

Jeanne was born Sept. 14, 1959, in Grand Rapids, Mich., the daughter of Richard and Joyce (Fick) Snook. She attended Union High School in Grand Rapids and graduated at Whitehall High School in Columbus, Ohio, in 1977.

Jeanne primarily worked in the nutrition department at Fred Meyer and Smith's Stores.

In 1992 Jeanne married Jim Medved in Kalispell. Their union lasted six years.

Jeanne enjoyed motorcycles, especially her Harley collection. She loved drawing, painting and spending time with her grandchildren.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her father, Richard Snook; brother, Bob Snook; and a granddaughter, Penny Palmer.

She is survived by her partner, Travis Westfall; mother, Joyce Snook; daughters, Michelle Powell, Monica Taylor and Marie Palmer; sisters, Bonnie VanderBos and Mary Snook; brothers, Rick, Jim, Dave, Tom and Ed Snook; and grandchildren, Taylor and Teagan Powell, Orion Lewellen, Scarlett Taylor, Zoe Snook and Lucky Palmer.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 9, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Home Options Hospice.
