WIAA reschedules state tournaments

RENTON - The Washington Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) announced scheduling changes on Aug. 4 for the upcoming 2008 2A, 3A, and 4A state volleyball tournaments.

The announced changes include moving the 3A state tournament to Nov. 20 and Nov. 21. The 2A and 4A state tournaments were rescheduled for Nov. 21 and Nov. 22.

The 2A, 3A, and 4A state tournaments are still scheduled to be held at the Toyota Center in Kennewick.

The WIAA did not announced scheduling changes for the 1B, 2B and 1A state volleyball tournaments.

The 2B state tournament is scheduled for Nov. 13 and Nov. 14. The 1B and 1A state tournaments are scheduled for Nov. 14 and Nov. 15.

The 1B, 2B and 1A state tournaments are still scheduled for the Yakima SunDome.
