Patricia Helen Herman

Patricia Helen Herman, a resident of Walnut Creek, Calif., was born May 9, 1926.

Patricia passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2008, in Lafayette, Calif. She was 82. After graduating from St. Joseph School of Nursing in San Francisco, Patricia began a 20-year career as a registered nurse.

She married her husband Richard Herman, a native of Oshkosh, Wis., in Ewa, Hawaii, in 1950. Prior to moving to the Bay Area, they resided in Sandpoint, Idaho, for 17 years.  

Patricia was one of the founding parishioners of St. Perpetua Catholic Church.

She enjoyed her craft making, playing golf and traveling.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Richard Herman; loving daughters Jan Roskelley of Woodinville, Wash., and Candy Funk of Hailey, Idaho; beloved grandchildren Kyle, Lexi and Sam; and brother James O’Donnell of San Carlos, Calif.

A funeral Mass will begin on Friday Aug. 1, 2008, at 10 a.m. at St. Perpetua Catholic Church 3454 Hamlin Rd., Lafayette CA 94549. Inurnment at Arlington National Cemetery.
