CLARK FORK - Cassie Thompson led four Timberlake scorers in double figures with a game-high 15 points, helping Timberlake notch a decisive 57-21 win over Clark Fork in nonleague girls basketball action Tuesday night in Clark Fork.

Shaina Gustafson had seven points, seven rebounds and eight steals to lead the 1A Wampus Cats (3-4), who hung with the 3A Tigers for a half before running out of gas and scoring only four second half points.

"The girls just got a little tired and quit moving the ball," said Cats coach Dexter Vogel, who lamented his team's turnovers, especially in the second half. "Timberlake played aggressive man defense on us the whole game."

Jessica Cartmell added six points and Amy Gannon four in the loss.

Clark Fork is at Newport on Friday.
