Elsie Grace Cliff, 82, passed away in Sandpoint, Idaho, on Friday, Dec. 5, 2008.

Memorial services will be conducted 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008, at Coffelt Funeral Chapel.

Elsie was born Nov. 1, 1926, in Sandpoint to Edward and Marian Hildreth. She grew up in the Sandpoint area.

She married Charles Cliff and from that marriage she had seven children, Edward (Colleen) Cliff of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Thersa Neil of Tacoma, Wash., Patty (Bobbie) Plumee of California, Roy (Linda) Cliff of Priest River, Idaho, Terrie (Dick) Carey of Post Falls, Idaho, Sandy Nelson of California, and Carl (Marte) Cliff of Priest River. She has 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Survivors also include a brother Dorrience (Bill) Hildreth of Kalispel, Mont.; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Elsie was preceded in death by a sister, Eva; and four brothers, Robert, Delbert, Harold and Hank.

She was a hard worker all of her life and didn't quit working until into her mid-70s.
