Tom Tonkinson, 78, of Kalispell passed away suddenly Dec. 8, 2008, in Brenda, Ariz. He was born June 15, 1930, in Kalispell.

Tom was raised in Dayton. He owned and managed Ridgewood Terrace Mobile Home Park for more than 40 years. He retired from Evergreen Fire Department and was a member of the Evergreen Lions Club. Tom enjoyed and loved life.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Carolyn Tonkinson, of Kalispell; six children; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Tom will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, in the Johnson Gloschat Funeral chapel. A reception will be held at the Eagles Lodge in Kalispell after the service. Burial will be at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15, in the Johnson Gloschat Funeral chapel.
