Lucille I. Penney, 85, died Jan. 21, 2008 at the Libby Care Center. Lucille was born in Calgary, Alberta on March 19, 1922 to Archie and Bertha Duckett.

She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and friend to all who knew her and enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much. When she was able to, she enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and camping. She was preceded in death by sons Orville and Darrell Nolting.

Survivors include: Carolen Nolting of Medical Lake, Wash.; Ruth Choate and her husband Larry of Libby; brother and sisters, Lester Duckett and Hazel Cornel, both of Victoria, B.C., and Ruth Whyte of Ponoka, Alberta; grandchildren Katrina and Dale; three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Private interment will be in City of Libby Cemetery. Arrangements are by Nelson & Vial Funeral Homes and Crematory.
