MOSES LAKE - With summer temperatures rising to more than 95 degrees around the Columbia Basin, heading for the pool for swim lessons is a way to beat the heat.

Swim lessons begin tonight at 6:30p.m. at the Moses Lake High School pool.

The lessons are offered in two, four-day sessions beginning tonight through July 10 and July 14-17. Classes are scheduled in half hour lessons between 6:30 and 7 p.m. or 7 and 7:30p.m.

Sign ups are available during regular pool hours and lessons are limited to only four swimmers per instructor.

Classes are available for children ages 4 and older and cost $30.00.

Private swim lessons are available and students must register with a Supervisor to ensure an instructor.

The cost for private lessons is $15.00 for every 45 minutes.
